Here is a link to a recent NEPR interview with Tom from "the road".  He attracted notice from the media because of a song he wrote about the planned fast-track executions of 8 men in Arkansas.  One of the execution drugs was set to expire.  We cannot make this stuff up!

After 18 months of screening the 17,400 Albums and 240K songs, Just Plain Folks  judges have chosen nominees for both Albums and Songs in over 70 genres of music for their 2017 International Awards.  

I am grateful to have been nominated with eight songs in four categories and 4 albums in two categories.
